Since 1997, North Harbour Stadium has hosted numerous high-profile national and international matches and is proudly home to six major sporting groups, including North Harbour Rugby and New Zealand Football.
As part of its Long Term Plan (LTP), Auckland Council is considering a proposal that could see the demolition of North Harbour Stadium and the sale of its land.
This option could mean that the fastest-growing sporting and development region of Auckland would be left without a stadium capable of hosting any major sporting, cultural, or music event.
