For the past decade, AT has operated Auckland’s transport projects and services.
Fares and on-road costs have skyrocketed (on top of rates) while Aucklanders have suffered the toll of congestion, delays, cancellations, and blow-outs – so much so that in 2022, AT almost went bankrupt!
Most recently, AT announced its latest agenda for Auckland: more cycleways, lower speed limits, and congestion charging. Is this in the best interest of Aucklanders or is it time to rein them in?
