Angus Ogilvie

Angus is a Chartered Management Accountant and Managing Director of an Auckland based accounting practice. He works as a tax specialist. He is a Fellow of CPA Australia, one of the world’s largest accounting bodies, having just stood down from two years as its Divisional President. Angus is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute NZ (formerly the Institute of Chartered Secretaries) and serves as Deputy Chairman. He also acts as Chair of the General Trust Board of the Anglican Diocese, a board responsible for managing significant property assets in Auckland and Northland, along with managed funds. Angus is also a Senior Member of the New Zealand Trustees Association.

Angus promises his diligence and commercial acumen in managing Entrust's affairs. He is committed to retaining the current arrangements with the Trust holding 75.1% of Vector’s shares. He believes strongly that the Trust is the best model to maximise the returns for energy consumers in the region. Angus is committed to retaining and enhancing the undergrounding projects undertaken by Vector and welcomes the increase in investment agreed recently. He believes in prudent trusteeship with a strong focus on fiduciary responsibilities owed to the beneficiaries.
