Troy Elliott

Maungakiekie-Tāmaki is my home. I now live in Mt Wellington with my wife and three children, having spent many years in Ellerslie. I’m a community stalwart at heart, volunteering for Ellerslie Community Patrols/local resident associations, and serve as a local board deputy chair.

I’ve advocated for substantial local projects, including Colin Maiden Precinct/Michaels Ave Park/Liston Park upgrades, and have successfully campaigned against Auckland Transport’s senseless projects.

I bring a wealth of corporate and managerial experience, having owned and led several award-winning businesses in the telecommunication and fitness industries. I’m also an accomplished public speaker and passionate advocate for better cancer treatment.

Council must stop focusing on the latest fads and instead focus on issues that matter: common-sense transport and housing solutions, tackling crime and careful spending of your rates. I’ll listen and represent ALL residents from Onehunga, One Tree Hill, Ellerslie, Mt Wellington, Panmure and Glen Innes.
